Gee.. My modem has been down for a few weeks already! Have not been spending much time using the computer.. which also explains the lack of updates and stuff here at my blog.. Would love to blog about quite a number of things.. But i shall just share about my recent two days of Relief Teaching at Canossa Convent Primary School! (:
Yeap! Finally I get to relief teach! On the 1st of August! I was taking a Primary 2 class. Man are they really quite a handful! haaha.. have not been mixing around with kids of that age for quite some time.. yeah.. it was kinda tought initally i felt.. in knowing how to handle them and lead them to learn things.. You've gotta be really be firm with them.. Show that you are confident, and don't let them climb over you.. and you've gotta show genuine love and care for them too. Yup
I think i've learnt quite alot from these 2 days so far.. I told myself that i've got to learn how to be more firm with them.. Not being too "nice" to them.. well.. i would say.. you should not show that your nice. There are many times where i had to really raise my voice to get their attention and speak to them.. haaha.. that explains why my throat is kinda painful now.. :(
Thought that many things that i experience thru these 2 days links quite alot to work in ministry as well.. serving, growing and leading in church.. It's really interesting..
Oh ya! the girls in my class are really sweet, cute n FUNNY! There are so many incidents i can recall that they did that makes me smile or laugh! Working with young children is really nice.... you get to learn alot from them too actually.
oh yes.. to end off.. I just wanna wish my sheep, Kesha... A blessed and happy 15th birthday!! (:
