And beyond!!!

I had a really nice past weekend.
On friday 23 March, met up with Xin Yi in the early afternoon. It was interesting visiting her in her sch, Tamp Sec.. Got the chance to talk to her and play with her as well. Though it was a rather short meet up, but I felt good after meeting her.. (: Thanks Xin Yi for your presence.. enjoy the child-like and "naughty" you! Will miss you when you move on to your new CG.
I bumped into the grads in EC in Tamp interchange. They were on their way to Pulau Ubin. Cool! I hope to go to Pulau Ubin one day.. With my group people as well!

I met up Fiona later in the evening in Bugis. A short and good time catching up with her.. We'll have our round 2 coming up soon alright!!
I did not get to spend a really long time with her as I went to have dinner with Eleanor and a few others. She's from Hope Melbourne!

I really think that it's really cool meeting up with her and getting to know her that evening!
Found out that she is one of the people who takes care of Anita! really cool.. Got to find out and understand better how is anita doing and stuff.
Whoo.. Eleanor is serving in the Youth and kids ministry in Melbourne. She's quite a busy person.. as she has her work and ministry to juggle with.
Something that I captured from her and also from the recent mission trip to Hope Perth is that- It is our Hope Vision and movement that compels people to give their best and all, serving God like there's no other better things in the world (which is true too!)
That is why people like Eleanor will not mind stretching herself and dedicating her life to the work of the Lord.
She was asking me and Zach to connect to her friend, Isaac to our church during his 3 weeks in Spore. Though he goes to another church, she still wants him to go and experience how Hope is like.. I like it when she said this.. "Hope is one the place where you'll really see yourself knowing God and experiencing Him best.. through the way we mobilize people in serving Him."
Was talking to Louis recently in the cl retreat.. and he mentioned that Hope is a church that literally follows everything in the Word!! What more can we ask and expect? THIS IS the place to be in!! If you wanna know and experience and follow God..
haa.. I'm really convicted of this recently! Would want to share more and get more people on board in this great family!!

Oh.. then on 24 March Sat. We had a farewell for the grads who are moving on to the tertiary group.. Whee.. It was a pretty moving n touching atmosphere in America Room then.. You could hear sniffs sniffs here n there.. Gee.. I will miss these people who are moving on.. Though I may not really know all of you very well.. But i know that you guys have played a significant part in the East. (:
Will surely miss you Serene.. Though we may still keep in touch.. but it'll be kinda different i feel.
Jia you in your new CG! There's lots more that God has in store for you! Will be praying for u.. (:

I did learn much from Jasmine Poon on When Everything Goes Wrong. ahh.. my sermon book is not with me now.. can't exactly recall what i learnt.. oopss.. STM!

And celebrated Carinna's birthday.. May this year be a year where you'll see yourself grow and reaching to higher grounds! Believe in yourself as how God believes in you.. all this while.. (:

The evening was still young!
Had CL retreat at East Coast, Island Resort.
whee.. glad that all my cls could go! esp lestari..
I esp enjoyed the night where we hang around outside Coffee Bean (for shelter as it was raining), playing games and doing forfeits! We also played captain's ball.. haa.. And Winstar got into my WANTED list of "mean" people.. not to forget Louis too! You are definitely in that list too.. He got flour right into my face! arrgghh.. A few of us were tired of playing captain's ball.. so we gathered at a corner and had our TCS - Talk Cork Session.. haaha! And slowly.. there were more people joining this group of ours.. From talking, it went on to singing songs! Lotsa old songs esp.. It was really nice recalling and singing old songs.. (: they bring back much memories as well.. whoo..
We made it in not sleeping throughout the night~! clap clap clap esp to those who are not night owls..

Sunday was of much resting and spending time with family..
Thank God that i got the chance to talk n discuss about my "future" with my mum n aunt.. Felt good sharing to them what i have in mind.. wheeeeee.. It's gonna be a bright and great future! (aiyoo.. future sounds very far.. ) anyway.. I'm looking forward to yet another new week!
